Capricorn, I was talking to somebody recently who kept saying they would relax once everything was finished. They would relax once the project was done. They would relax once the paperwork was handled. They would relax once the house was organized. They would relax once work became less busy.
After listening for a while, I asked them a question.
“When was the last time everything was finished?”
They stared at me for a few seconds and laughed.
Because they knew the answer.
Never.
Adult life doesn’t really work that way. There is always another email, another responsibility, another task, another thing waiting patiently around the corner. If your ability to enjoy life depends on reaching a point where absolutely everything is completed, you’re going to be waiting a very long time.
That feels remarkably connected to your week.
There seems to be a growing realization that some parts of life deserve to be enjoyed while they’re happening rather than after they’ve been perfected.
