Aquarius Weekly Horoscope August 3–9, 2026
Aquarius, I was sitting in a café recently watching two people share a table while spending almost the entire time looking at their phones, and every few minutes one of them would find something interesting, hold the screen across the table and say, “Look at this,” which made me think that modern relationships have somehow evolved to the point where we can sit three feet from somebody we love and communicate largely by showing them things created by complete strangers. There was nothing particularly sad about it because they actually seemed very happy, but it did remind me that closeness changes shape constantly, and that is an important idea for you this week because August 3–9 places relationships directly in the centre of your astrology while simultaneously changing your ideas about freedom, romance, identity, work and the future. Jupiter and the Sun are moving through Leo in your partnership house, Mercury joins them on August 9, the extraordinary Leo solar eclipse is approaching on August 12, Venus moves into Libra and opens a much wider horizon, while Mars and Uranus in Gemini are making your romantic and creative life considerably less predictable than it has been for a long time.
The seventh house of marriage, committed relationships, business partnerships, contracts, clients and important one-to-one connections is becoming the busiest part of your horoscope because the Sun and Jupiter are already travelling through Leo here, and Jupiter’s presence makes this far more significant than the ordinary relationship focus that happens every Leo season. Jupiter will spend an extended period expanding this part of your life, creating one of the strongest partnership cycles you have experienced in approximately twelve years, and for many Aquarians this can bring important new people into the picture, deepen an existing relationship, create business collaborations or dramatically increase the number of clients, partnerships and one-to-one opportunities available to you.
The important word is expansion, because Jupiter does not promise that every person entering your life is automatically wonderful; it increases the amount of experience available through other people, and sometimes the gift is a relationship itself while at other times the gift is what a relationship teaches you about your own expectations. You may meet somebody who changes your plans, work with someone whose abilities complement yours, become more serious with a partner or discover that you are finally ready for a kind of commitment you previously associated with losing independence.
