Aquarius Weekly Horoscope August 10–16, 2026
Theme of the Week: The right relationship will make room for your independence without using emotional distance as the price of staying together.
Written by Mia Astrology
Aquarius, the defining astrology of this week is the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on Wednesday, August 12, which lands directly opposite your sign in the seventh house of relationships, commitments, contracts, clients, business partnerships, and the people whose choices have a meaningful effect on your life.
Every solar eclipse occurs at a New Moon, but an eclipsed New Moon is not an ordinary monthly beginning, because it can launch a relationship chapter that continues unfolding over the following six months and changes the way you understand partnership.
A new relationship may begin, an existing one could deepen, or a commitment may become official through marriage, engagement, moving in together, a business contract, or another important agreement.
An eclipse can also reveal that a partnership has reached a turning point, particularly when the relationship can no longer continue under its current terms.
The central question is not simply whether you want somebody in your life, because the deeper question concerns whether the connection allows both people to remain fully themselves.
You value freedom, honesty, individuality, and enough emotional space to think without somebody treating every quiet moment as a developing international incident.
However, independence can become complicated when it is used to avoid vulnerability, difficult conversations, or the ordinary compromises required when another person’s needs matter alongside your own.
This eclipse may show you where you have accepted too little closeness to protect your freedom, but it may also reveal where somebody has expected you to surrender too much of yourself in order to prove that you care.
A healthy relationship should not require either person to disappear.
