Let Saturn handle one practical task at a time
Grief creates long lists at exactly the moment concentration becomes unreliable. Saturn works better with clear limits than with heroic overachievement, so choose the task that genuinely needs attention, write down what has been completed and let other people take specific responsibilities where possible.
“Please help” can be difficult for others to interpret, while “Could you call the insurance company, collect the children on Thursday or bring something we can heat up?” gives kindness an actual address.
Give Mars somewhere safe to put anger
Anger is common in grief and may be directed toward doctors, relatives, institutions, the person who died, yourself, fate or the cheerful stranger complaining that their coffee order took six minutes.
Mars symbolism can help recognize the need for movement and direct expression. Walking, physical work, exercise, writing privately or handling one concrete problem can give anger a form, although anger that feels dangerous, uncontrollable or likely to cause harm needs immediate professional support rather than an interpretation of Mars by sign.
Allow Venus to preserve what was beautiful
Venus concerns love, value, beauty, art, relationship and the objects through which memory becomes tangible. Music, photographs, clothing, recipes, jewelry, gardens and personal rituals can maintain connection without requiring somebody to “move on” from the relationship as though love were a rented apartment that must be cleared by noon.
Keeping an object can be comforting, while giving possessions away can also be loving. There is no moral hierarchy between the person who preserves everything and the one who cannot bear to see it, and those preferences may change.
