Saturday is the most intense day of the week, and I am not going to decorate that fact with glitter and tell you everything is simply “transformational,” because Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio, Mars in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, and the Last Quarter Moon in Cancer asks us to release emotional baggage on a day when several people may feel strangely committed to unpacking it in the middle of the living room.
Venus begins a retrograde that lasts until November 14, opening a major review of love, money, beauty, desire, loyalty, self-worth, and the agreements holding relationships together. Because Venus stations in Scorpio, the opening questions are not casual ones. We may revisit trust, jealousy, emotional honesty, financial dependence, power, intimacy, and the difference between being deeply connected and being unable to let go.
Past relationships or feelings can return during Venus retrograde, although their return does not automatically mean they belong in your future. Sometimes the past comes back because it has finally located the correct exit.
Mars opposing Pluto adds power struggles, anger, ambition, and the temptation to force a result. This is not good energy for proving who has the stronger will, because everybody involved can leave the battle having technically stood their ground and practically ruined the day.
The Last Quarter Moon in Cancer adds family history and emotional responsibility to the mix, showing where something must be released before the next lunar cycle begins. If you feel reactive, give the body somewhere safe to place the energy before beginning a conversation that cannot be put back into its original packaging.
