You can learn to let evidence of safety matter.
You can learn that consistency does not need to be suspicious.
You can learn that a calm relationship is not missing something simply because nobody is making you cry in a bathroom twice a month.
You can learn that rest does not mean you have forgotten something.
You can learn that success does not immediately need another goal attached to it.
You can learn that receiving does not automatically create debt.
You can learn that astrology is there to deepen your understanding of life, not make you afraid to live it.
Most importantly, you can learn that appreciating something does not make losing it more likely.
Love the people while they are here.
Enjoy the season while you are in it.
Celebrate the win while it is yours.
Sit in the quiet house.
Drink the coffee.
Take the photograph.
Say that you are happy when you are happy.
Let yourself admit that something is going well without immediately whispering, “I hope I haven’t jinxed it.”
You haven’t.
You are simply noticing your own life while it is happening.
And after all the work you have done to get here, perhaps the next lesson is not another lesson in surviving.
Perhaps it is learning that you are finally allowed to enjoy what you survived long enough to reach.
